About Kim

I'm 63. I've been a personal trainer for 43 years. I went through menopause. I know exactly what this feels like from the inside. The confusion, the frustration, the sense that your own body has become a stranger.

That experience changed the way I do this work. Because I didn't just study menopause and midlife physiology in a textbook. I lived it while also treating it with every tool I had. And I was still humbled. That matters.

Science and Soul is the name of my brand because it's the only way I know how to work. The science is non-negotiable. I'm not interested in giving you information that isn't grounded in how the body actually functions. Yet science without soul is a list of rules, and rules have never helped a woman who already feels like she's failing. So we do both. Always.

What I've learned in four decades of this work, and especially in the last several years, is that women over 50 are not a lesser version of who they were. They're a different version. And different requires a different approach, not a more aggressive one.
