And I've been holding space for 43 years.
I became a caretaker at eight years old, when my mother was hospitalized. I learned early what it meant to hold someone... to see them, to be steady when everything else was shaking. I've been doing it ever since.
My father was born in India. A history professor with a master's in anthropology. An atheist who believed in evidence and reason... and then walked away from academia to become an entrepreneur. My mother was born in Aruba, on a small Dutch island in the Caribbean. Catholic, brilliant, bipolar, and the person who taught me what unconditional love actually feels like. I grew up in the space between those two worlds... science and soul, logic and intuition, structure and flow.
I never had to choose a lane. I learned to hold both things as true at the same time.
That's the foundation of everything I teach. The both/and. Science and soul. Strength and softness. Depth and delight. You never have to choose.
I don't help women try harder. I help them understand what their body is asking for now, and respond with more wisdom, more support, and a strategy that fits this season of life.
For 43 years, I've been a private, in-home trainer to some of the most high-achieving women and men in the country. People who could hire anyone... and they kept me. Some of them for 20 years. Now I'm training their children.
And what I learned in all those living rooms is that information was never what changed people. Having someone genuinely in your corner did. That feeling of... I've got someone. I'm not alone in this.
I spent decades giving that level of care behind closed doors. And at some point I realized... every woman deserves access to that same quality of presence. Not the ones who can afford a private trainer five days a week. Every woman.
So I got obsessed with understanding what actually works for our bodies in this season of life. The science. The nervous system. The hormonal reality. And I built a program that gives every woman access to the same level of personal support I gave behind those doors. Not lessons. Me. In their pocket. Coaching calls, text access, real answers... for a year.
That program is called The Ageless Reset.
I didn't plan any of this. I entered college to be a computer programmer. I left as one of the first independent female personal trainers in the country... five years before the first certification even existed. In 1982, there was no such thing as personal training. There were bodybuilding coaches in gyms and pink dumbbells in the corner. My best friend and I wanted to build a women's-only gym where we could actually train with real weight, and when the funding fell through, I walked into a Gold's Gym and made my own path. I've been making it ever since.
Along the way, I became a certified life coach, a relationship coach, a spiritual counselor, a massage therapist, a yoga instructor, and an author. Not because I was collecting credentials... because each one helped me serve the whole person, not the body alone.
Four years ago, I stepped away from public platforms. I was tired. I trained my one-on-one clients. I deepened my meditation practice. I got quiet.
Then my dog Brady passed. And in the grief, something broke open.
Here's the thing most people don't know. The mantras in my book weren't born from that grief. They were born years earlier, written live every morning to the women in my first coaching cohorts. I'd sit down, feel into what they needed, and write. Brady was next to me for every single one... witness to the early mornings, the quiet words, the slow work of helping women come back to themselves.
When he died, I realized those mantras were too important to keep in a folder. So I collected them into a book... Morning Mantras That Will Change Your Life. It became an Amazon bestseller on its first day. And it broke my limiting belief that I couldn't write.
I looked at what I'd built. At the 43 years. At the certifications. At the women who kept coming back. And I thought... maybe I'm not done yet.
I don't just tell you what to do. I walk this path with you. I see you. I've got you. You're not behind.
I believe real transformation doesn't start with a diet. It starts with your beliefs about yourself. Change the belief, and the body follows.
I believe a woman can want peace and great hair. You don't have to choose between inner work and outer beauty. Botox and meditation can coexist. Depth and delight belong together.
I believe the science matters. Research, evidence, lab work, measurable outcomes. I never ask you to take my word for it. I show you what the studies say.
I believe the soul matters too. Breath work, mantras, meditation, nervous system regulation... these aren't extras. They're the foundation that makes the science stick.
I believe you're not behind. Wherever you are right now is exactly where you're supposed to be. All of us are still becoming.
My mission is to reach a million women who deserve that kind of care... and never thought they could access it.
I honor your soul. You're not behind. I've got you.
